The direct powered TranX260 transponder is becoming increasingly popular. In most cases the transponder, once mounted, stays on the vehicle for the duration of the season. The transponder comes with a fixed wire for connection to the 12V battery. Power consumption is extremely low and does not effect the operation of the vehicle in any way. Includes 3 ft. of power lead wire. The wire is encased in a special heat resistant, flame retardant jacket to protect it from heat sources in the car.
