The R3 is Engineered to Disappear and is easily the most comfortable device on the market! Combined with a simple installation of a u-shaped seat pad, the R3 disappears into the seat back, making the R3 undetectable to the wearer. This is in addition to its superior side and multiple impact protection. The low top allows for easier exit while the Safety Solutions exclusive 3" Poly-Tech chest strap dissipates the load over a larger area. Can be used with all seatbelts (including 3 point) and is the only SFI restraint that can be used without Seatbelts!
Unlike other head and neck restraint systems that require seat belts to secure them, or a complicated series of uncomfortable harnesses, the R3 Head and Neck Restraint system is a simple lever arm which is strapped directly to the driver. This concept insures that the unit will stay with you during multiple angle impacts. Other carbon fiber units on the market can slip out from under the belts, leaving you unprotected for a second impact. Having the system travel with you during a crash has proven to reduce the impact loads to the neck during violent, whipping actions. Once fitted, the sturdy carbon fiber design is so thin and light you hardly know it's there. Each unit comes complete with helmet attachment hardware, quick-release lanyards, contoured seat pad and complete instructions for easy do-it-yourself installation.
